Description:
The control centers of DB Energie GmbH are responsible for managing the electrical network operations in the DB Netz AG overhead line network as well as the DB Energie 15 kV switchgear that feeds into the overhead line. Instead of the independent control systems (9 in total) the central switching pointlen (Zes), a uniform central but geographically redundantly distributed network control system is currently being put into operation at 3 central switching points.
As part of this overarching project, network-capable devices for intelligent network connections are being installed at all DBEn VPN locationsInvention (INA) was introduced. These devices must be able to control the IEC60870-5-104 telecontrol lines between the RTU and the control systems without re-parameterizing the RTU (e.g. changing the command sovereignty of the various control systems or monitoring mode).
