Framework agreement on the provision of workplace and hallway printers
The advertised order is a rental agreement within the meaning of Section 535 of the German Civil Code (BGB), as the focus of the framework agreement lies on the rental of the printing systems (workstation and hallway printers). The framework agreement exists with a company. The envisaged order volume amounts to 215 printing systems based on the maximum permissible total term of the framework agreement of four years. For all individual orders based on this framework agreement, a binding maximum purchase limit of 1075 printing systems applies, based on the overall term of the framework agreement including all planned extension options. The framework agreement comes into force when the contract is awarded and has a basic term of two years. It is extended on a recurring basis for another year unless it is terminated in writing by the client six months before the respective expiry, but for a maximum of four years in total (maximum term). After the maximum term has expired, the framework agreement ends without the need for termination.
