Description:
Via the urban data network (CAN = Cologne Area Network), around 17,500 jobs are currently networked in numerous service buildings with two highly available data centers in the districts of Chorweiler and Kalk. Based on this infrastructure, both the data and the language transmission isprocessed in the communication network 221-0.
The tasks include the following activities:
•Switching work in the context of parades and new facilities of PC workplaces
• Care of the existing documentation
• Disorder and removal on the passive data network
• Disruption and removal of active network components on site
• Implementation of configuration changes
•Support in the planning and implementation of changes
• Support of the proactive network management
• Provision of measuring devices for network analysis and error limitation
