Framework agreements in the area of developing Java applications for authorities of the Bayer division. State Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Forestry, in particular also for the EU paying agency
In the business area of the Bavarian State Ministry for Food, Agriculturet and forests (StMELF) a large number of complex applications are used, some of which are developed and maintained by the company's own staff and some by external service providers.
The projects are controlled both by the StMELF in Munich and by subordinate authorities, e.g. the stateichen Management Academy for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (FueAk) in Landshut. It is often about the handling of funding measures, but also about the support of other sovereign tasks, such as the implementation of the property transaction law. Many applications also have tobe adapted to the changing legal conditions over the entire period of use.
The application is developed in Java and web and batch applications are developed as well as web services. Since the applications often have to be used and maintained on a long-term basis, a possiblehst strived for a uniform architecture and for this purpose a reference architecture called "Racy10" was developed, which is based on the open standards Apache Wicket, Spring and Java Persistence API.
