The BG Klinikum Hamburg is one of nine acute clinics in the network of the professional association clinics, the "BG Kliniken". With our powerful emergency room and the emergency vehicle and rescue helicopter stationed here, we play a crucial role in acute care of accident victims and seriously injured patients from all over northern Germany. Furthermore, we are certified as a national trauma center and are therefore optimally prepared for disaster and large damage events. Our centers for cross -sectional paralysis, fire injuries and Rehabilitation are among the largest departments of this kind in the federal territory. Other core competencies of our house are septic surgery and neurotraumatology. The highly qualified specialist staff of the BG Clinic Hamburg specializes in all surgical disciplines and one Integrated rehabilitation that accompanies patients from the scene of the accident to the most complete restoration as possible. We also fulfill a supply order for the total population and are therefore open to patients of all health insurance around the clock. Our shareholders are the commercial professional associations and nine accident funds.
