  • Description:
  • Various building material plants are currently being operated at the Asse II mine to implement precautionary and emergency measures to fill underground structures with Sorel concrete. The building materials rock salt (NaCl) and magnesium oxide (MgO) required for the production of Sorel concrete are individuallyn or also mixed as a pre-product conveyed pneumatically from above ground to below ground. Furthermore, the mixing liquid used as an additive for the Sorel concrete is pumped from above to below ground, as well as the inflow water occurring in the mine workings in regular campaigns from below to above groundpromoted. Appropriate shaft pipelines are available in the Asse 2 and 4 day shafts for fluid and pneumatic conveyance. The technical data of the shaft pipelines are listed in Chapter 3.2, Technical description of the shaft pipelines. As MIn the past, the multi-finger caliber measurement method has proved its worth. The wall thickness measurements should also be carried out with this measuring method in the future.
