- The Friedrichshafen district office plans to renovate the existing facades and pitched roofs for energy efficiency while operations continue. The measure is divided into several construction phases. The shed roof renovation began on the southern half of the building Year 2025. The 7 new shed constructions there are almost finished. Due to the insolvency of the metal construction company, the metal construction work for the north side will be put out to tender again. The ventilated facades are partially completed. After the shed roofs are completed, the remaining VHF facades on the north side will be added. The overall renovation project is expected to run until spring 2027.
