- The medbo District Hospital Wöllershof is currently supplied by an external textile service company at the Wöllershof (Störnstein) and Weiden locations and will be the service partner for the coming years as part of this award process determine. With this service partner, the external textile supply for the client's clinics and functional areas is scheduled to begin from July 1, 2026. For the Wöllershof District Hospital, the award procedure includes the centrally delivered Full textile supply with pre-picked, high-quality textiles as well as the filling and emptying of the client's own clothing management system with UHF-RFID-tagged workwear items as well as centrally at the Weiden location Delivered, pre-picked textile supply (see corresponding service description) with high-quality textiles. The service includes the provision of the “Requirements for the ward linen range” and “Requirements The textiles listed in the “work and sector clothing range” are carried out by the contractor, their reprocessing, replacement procurement, repairs as well as textile logistics and service and controlling services. Also organizational services such as Equipping the work clothing items with UHF RFID transponders and exchanging data with the client's own work clothing distribution system are essential components of the full textile supply. The service therefore includes needs-based Supply of the contractor's own station linen and work clothing as well as, to a small extent, the processing and transport of the client's own textiles from the Wöllershof and Weiden locations.
