The district of Zwickau leads a negotiation procedure with prior participation competition for the promotion of the expansion of sustainable as well as future and high-performance Broadband infrastructures (so-called gigabitine frastructures within the meaning of the Gigabitaus construction of the telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany (Gigabit Directive 2.0) of April 30, 2024 (hereinafter: Funding Directive of the Federal) with fast internet connections for the eligible addresses in cluster 2 of the Zwickau district (also called project area) according to the regulations of the Ordinance on the awarding of concessions (concession awarding Ordinance KonzVGV). With regard to more detailed information on the project area, reference is made to the tender documents. With the tender, the expansion of future -proof and convergent gigabit networks is to be achieved and promoted by telecommunications network operators in the aforementioned cluster 2/ project area of the district of Zwickau so that a need -based broadband supply in the project area is manufactured and can be maintained.
