Further operation of Albertstrasse (HB118)
In the abstrom of the B-Planebiet "after the Maureskoethen" (Gerresheim-Flingern)
Was one in 2009 Contamination of the groundwater with polyfloured alkyl substances (PFAS). Based on the entry points meanwhile an approx. 3.5 km (2024) long groundwater contamination flag spread to Albertstrasse. The expansion speed of the PfAS contamination is very high at approx. 250 m per year. In order to prevent further spread, groundwater is currently in the area of the top of the contamination flag Funded with a total of approx. 110 m3/h in the Quaternary Foerderbrunnen (13925, 13926, 13927, 13928, 14666, 18487) and cleaned at the Albertstrasse 32 renovation system. Likewise, remaining loads with chlorinated hydrocarbons (CKW) are still being renovated in the area. The renovation system was designed for a throughput of 280 m³/h raw water, but is also able to adhere to the required pure water values in the event of a reduced amount of water.
