- The aim of this research project is to investigate how the usability of BIM can be achieved on a broad scale in smaller construction projects with a focus on residential construction and a comprehensive practical introduction of digital tools in the construction industry. Construction volumes below 5 million euros can be identified and examined with regard to common project structures. The BIM master plan should determine the relevant use cases and their scope for these construction measures. should Information delivery manuals (IDM) and other necessary specifications and assistance are created in the form of a modular kit for practice. Finally, there should be an introduction strategy with recommendations for the market launch as well as the political support and demand for BIM designed become.
