Description:
The aim of the research project is to carry out a feasibility study and to conceptualize a platform ("virtual construction site"), which, as a three-dimensional world of experience, should enable users to move freely in a digital construction site model and thereby use various digitalto interactively experience all the innovations of practical research in the field of execution.
For this purpose, an exploration should first be carried out to determine whether and which comparable platforms already exist on the market and what type of innovations and digital tools are available on a "virtual basis"."actual construction site". This is followed by a variant study that examines various options for setting up and operating such a platform. Based on the evaluation, a preferred variant should be selected in consultation with the client. This selection is Vor condition for the continuation of the project. If the evaluation shows that none of the examined variants is promising for achieving the objective, the project will be ended at this point. If the project is continued, the preferred variant will be further developedand then created a demonstrator for a sample application. This is followed by an evaluation together with possible future users.
