Description:
At the Heer Combat Simulation Center (GefSimZH) in Wildflecken, simulation-supported command and staff exercises are carried out from the corps/division/brigade command level in a multinational contextdrawing of the tactical radio communication in the constructive combat exercise simulation systems (GefUebSimSys) SIRA and GUPPIS in the exercises mentioned above.
The hardware and software to be scaffolded here must be integrated into the stationary simulation network of the Rhoen barracks. The one to commissionThe subject of the service is used both for the implementation of stationary plan and staff exercises and to support frame exercises in the open area.
The technical design of the equipment enables an improvement in the principle for training equipment (train as you fight) for the exercise trup. This requires the implementation, control and recording of all radio communications in the buildings and externally to the command posts and the walkie-talkies available there.
Due to defective and obsolete hardware, the current system must be regenerated promptlyn to continue to ensure the ability of the army to carry out simulation-supported plan and staff exercises.
To do this, the full range of functions of the previous radio communication system at GefSimZH must be transferred to the new radio communication system (software components) and the hardware that has become obsolete...
