Description:
A state-of-the-art educational and innovation center for the Saxon and Central German glass industry and the glazing trade is to be created at the Torgau location by 2026. Among other things, it includes the Glaslab Torgau to be built, which is building an industrial hall with teaching, testing and pilot plants As well as training rooms and a cafeteria, the construction task of the workshops, the newly planned Glaslab Torgau includes the construction of a professional workshop for the departments of the glass processing craft professions. These are divided into the departments of glass processing, woodworking, plastic processing and metal processing as well as the integration of a glass research laboratory from the TU Berg-Akademie Freiberg. These workshops are to be created adjacent to the existing vocational school center in Torgau on Repitzer Weg on a property.
