- Description:
- The client plans to build a predominantly new district heating system “Eutin Nord”. An existing, smaller heating network or existing generation locations and systems are to be integrated. Overall, there was one in the study area annual heat requirement of around 30 GWh is derived. Assuming a connection rate of 100% and 1,600 hours of full use, this results in a potential district heating connection capacity of 18.5 MWth. To achieve this, a total of around 450 house connections would have to be built or buildings can be connected to the district heating. With an estimated average of two residential units per building, around 900 residential units should be supplied with district heating. To completely cover the area, around 10 km of routes would have to be new be constructed. The additional district heating routes will be reduced by around 800 meters in length in the Stolbergstrasse/Lübecker Strasse area, as these were already planned as part of a road renovation and are already under construction. The accepted one Heat line density for Eutin Nord will be around 2,400 kWh/m. The specific spatial, technical and capacity scope of the planned network (supply area, objects to be connected, connected power, generation capacities, generation locations) results from a feasibility study currently in progress.
