- A new campus is to be built for the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy at the Technical University of Munich in the municipality of Taufkirchen, south of Munich. The task on which the procedure is based includes both the creation of a master plan for the overall scope the object and open space planning for an already defined first construction phase (BA 1). The total area to be developed is around 5.3 hectares. The total area of the Free State of Bavaria at the site covers around 7 hectares, of which around 1.7 hectares are already occupied by interim buildings. The The planned total area of the campus across all construction phases amounts to around 42,000 square meters of usable space (NUF 1-6). Around 9,800 square meters of NUF 1-6 are being built in BA 1. Of this, around 4,520 square meters are used in NUF 2 and around 5,280 square meters in NUF 3. Within NUF 3, around 3,000 square meters are earmarked for workshops. This includes four halls with an area of more than 250 square meters, two of which have clear room heights of up to 10 meters and a height of up to 5.5 meters. In addition, seven halls with fewer than 250 will be built square meters of space, including two with clear room heights of up to 10 meters.
