- General planning of a large wastewater heat pump at the Rosental sewage treatment plant site in Leipzig The Leipzig public utilities are inviting tenders for the comprehensive general planning of a large heat pump system with a thermal output of up to 120 MW. The location is the sewage treatment plant Rose Valley. The aim of the project is to build an approved and functional system for the sustainable and efficient use of treated wastewater to provide district heating.
