• DFS is planning to build a new ground radar system (ASMR) at Frankfurt Airport. The structural system consists of an antenna support (reinforced concrete, height = approx. 65 m, including elevator and rack space under the tower head) and a ground building with office and meeting areas as well as outdoor facilities close to the building (access, parking spaces, etc.). The content of the general planning includes services from Lph 1 to 8 according to HOAI 2021 for a new building on a property at Frankfurt Airport (FRAPORT) with approx. 400 m2 of NF office and meeting space. A garage and storage areas (approx. 50 m2 NF) are to be integrated. Taking into consideration The development technology and other additional usable areas result in a total area (GFA) of approx. 750 m2. The new building is to be built and connected in the restricted access area - not the security area - of the FRAPORT. All areas must be air-conditioned as required. The essential media for heating, cooling and UPS power supply should be planned and provided in the building as needed. A normal current and emergency power system connection is provided by FRAPORT. The connection to the building supply takes place in a corresponding transfer room. The security technology (§53 HOAI, system group 5) and building automation (§53 HOAI, system group 8) must be connected to the existing systems.
