- The company's own company, Municipal Buildings Esslingen am Neckar, Ritterstrasse 17, 73728 Esslingen, intends to carry out the general renovation of the community school, Blumenstr. 10, 73728 Esslingen. The school is characterized by its central inner-city location, its direct relationship to Schiller Park and its classicist style Form language very representative. The Wilhelminian style buildings (main building and connecting building with gym) were built between 1910 and 1912 and are listed buildings. The overall construction project consists of the modernization and optimization of the existing school areas of UG-DG, as well as the connecting building and gymnasium. The Renovation and modernization work involves components such as windows, sun protection, electrical systems, heating and sanitary systems that have been used far beyond their life cycle. These should be revised according to the current state of the art. In addition, the buildings are comprehensive Fire protection measures, including: to be upgraded with an extended stairwell and to meet accessibility requirements with an elevator. The aim of the renovation should also be to optimize the energy efficiency of the listed buildings in the areas of facade and roof/floor ceiling.
