Description:
In the context of water-sensitive monitoring of quality and amount of groundwater by collection, preparation and evaluation of determined data by the BuKEA (authority for the environment, climate, energy and agricultural economy), the state of groundwater is recognized nationwide and representative of Hamburg. From the Directive, which as a specification from the Water Household Act (WHG, is the main part of German water law), the Hamburg Water Law (Hamb. WG, in particular § 64) and the Water Framework Directive of the European Union (EU? WRRL), is the To fulfill a monitoring program. For this purpose, a comprehensive measuring network distributed throughout the entire Hamburg territory is operated. The hydrological land measuring net consists of approx. 650 groundwater meters and 68 surface waters measuring points. In addition, there are numerous groundwater and duplex measuring points on contaminated waste burden and suspicions. To ensure continuous data collection, these measuring points must be maintained or renovated and, if necessary, be reversed or rebuilt according to the changing boundary conditions.
