- The Prenzlau public utilities plan to reactivate the use of geothermal energy for district heating supply. For this purpose, after two old geothermal deep boreholes have been kept under mining law, the third old borehole at the site, Gt Pr 3/89 will be cleaned, reinstalled and reused as an injection well and a new production well will be constructed to complete a geothermal well doublet. Geothermal energy Prenzlau - thermal water route Stadtwerke Prenzlau (SWP) GmbH is planning to to reactivate the use of geothermal energy for district heating supply. For this purpose, the existing old borehole Gt Pr 3/89 serves as an injection borehole and the newly drilled borehole Gt Pr 4/25 serves as a production borehole. A thermal brine pipe between the Production and injection wells are intended to complete the thermal water circuit. In the following, the terms "thermal water pipeline" and "thermal water route" - used in particular in the appendices - serve as a synonym for "thermal brine pipeline". The The thermal brine line between the production and injection wells should consist of a PP pipe SDR 11 with an outer diameter of the media pipe of 200 mm and an outer diameter of the casing pipe of 315 mm. Be parallel to this pipeline 2 empty pipes PE 50x4.6 for the fiber optic connection, a pipe network 3x20/16 and in some areas a rainwater pipe DN 600, a biogas pipe PE 160x9.5 as well as a natural gas pipe PE 110x6.6 and a district heating system...
