- The project is intended to make a central contribution to strengthening the fruit and vegetable sector in Ukraine. The focus is on the agricultural dialogue with the partner ministries for agricultural policy and nutrition as well as education and science and subsequent institutions to improve the framework conditions in the fruit and vegetable sector, especially with a view to production and marketing. The focus is on the agricultural policy and institutional advice of key institutions, the strengthening of training and further education and agricultural advice as well as the promotion of investments and start-ups. The project follows a regional approach with a focus on the Winnyzja Oblast, one of the main construction regions for fruit and vegetables in Ukraine. This should also support the current decentralization efforts of the Ukrainian government. Operative partners are the Illintsi Agricultural University in Winnyzja and the scientific-methodical center (WMZ, formerly Agroosvita). The expansion by other partners is possible.
