Description:
The project is intended to make a central contribution to strengthening the fruit and vegetable sector in Ukraine. The focus is on the agricultural dialogue with the Ukrainian partner ministries for agricultural policy and nutrition (MAPE) as well as education and science (MBW) and downstream institutions to improve the framework conditions in the fruit and vegetable sector, in particular with a view to production and marketing. The focus is on the agricultural policy and institutional advice of key institutions, the strengthening of training and further education and agricultural advice as well as the promotion of investments and start-ups. The project follows a regional approach with a focus on the Winnyzja Oblast, one of the main construction regions for the cultivation of fruit and vegetables in Ukraine. This is also intended to support decentralization efforts by the Ukrainian government.
