The Grace-C Mission is a replacement for the Grace-Fo Mission, which will continue to create a model of the earth's heavy field with the accuracy already achieved by Grace FO and deliver global climate data during a five-year mission. Grace-FO was already the replacementFor the Grace mission. The aim of the Grace mission was to measure the distance between the two satellites exactly and thus the heavy fieldto map the earth with an unprecedented accuracy. The general structure and the scientific goal of the satellites are not changed for Grace FO and finally Grace-C.
2. Description of the required components
The following components/circuits are in the photo receiver orBack-end amplifier used as a subsystem of the Laser Ranging Interferometer (LRI). This builds a heterodynes interferometer between the satellites.
