Guarding framework agreement Oktoberfest Munich and Oide Wiesn
The service is to be provided for the Oktoberfest 2026 to 2031 and the Oide Wiesn 2026, 2027 and 2029 to 2031, including the assembly and dismantling phases and various preparations and preparation Security debriefings.
The contract for Oktoberfest 2026 is expected to begin in March 2026 and end on November 30, 2028 with three extension options of one year each.
Five people with specialist qualifications will be appointed to the position of security service manager (ODL). for protection and security or IHK-certified protection and security staff or alternatively with comparable or higher qualifications are required.
For the set-up and dismantling phase, 16 positions must be filled by security guards every day, with half of the staff taking the skills test must prove.
This means that up to around 680 security guards per day have to be provided in multi-shift operation. Of these, around 120 law enforcement officers must at least pass the proficiency test prove. Information is sufficient for all other law enforcement officers.
