- The listed facility of the Altjeßnitz estate is part of the state project "Garden dreams, historical parks in Saxony-Anhalt". The park is particularly well known through its maze as the largest and oldest baroque maze in Germany (around 1,250 lfm hedges).
The construction work includes work to stabilize and supplement the plant stocks in the park. To do this, the production of an irrigation system for the maze (drip irrigation) and the planting of trees of different types is provided almost throughout the park.
