• The existing office building Haus 12 in the Bildungspark Essen (Karolingerstrasse 94) was built more than 20 years ago as an office building with approx. 6,700 m2 BGF for companies, start -ups and vocational training. After a long vacancy, the property and existing building were from the property managementStadt Essen GmbH (GVE) acquired and is now to be rebuilt for an intermediate use of approx. 10 years as a training building for adult education at BFZ-Essen GmbH (vocational development center-essen GmbH). Afterwards, the building is expected to continue using the building as a city school.In the course of the conversion and renovation measures, parts of load-bearing walls and non-supporting walls are canceled in the building.
