• Description:
• The infrastructure measure “Electrification Dresden - Bischofswerda / Demitz - Thumitz” is intended to improve the Plan local rail passenger transport. This is intended to create the conditions for electrical and battery electric vehicles in the to be able to use Lausitz. From 2031, the Free State of Saxony is planning to convert the Lusatian local public transport network to electric traction. The basis for this is the previously planned infrastructure measure “Needs-based expansion and Electrification of the Dresden - Görlitz line *), for which a significant part of the preliminary planning is available.
