- As part of a third-party funded research project, the University Hospital of Halle (Saale) is developing a digital communication and design concept for disaster warnings that is specifically tailored to the needs of older people. Goal is to further develop existing warning systems (e.g. Cell Broadcast, NINA, KATWARN) so that warning messages are prepared in a more understandable, context-related and action-oriented manner. The aim of the project is to develop a communication system for warning and... To conceptually develop and evaluate disaster reports that are specifically tailored to the needs of older people. The aim is to ensure that digital warning messages, such as those sent via cell broadcast by authorities or in warning apps such as Nina or Katwarn, will be prepared individually and specifically in the future so that these and the necessary actions resulting from them can also be interpreted and understood in your own context. Technical work goals are: Creation of a digital communication and design concept for disaster warnings adapted to the needs of older people with implementation in interactive mock-ups and testing with the target group.
