Description:
The central firewall for the business area of the Saxon State Ministry of Finance (SMF) is operated in the SID-LRZS. The Saxon tax offices and their branch offices are each equipped with their own, decentralized firewalls, which are managed in the SID-LRZS.
The aim of the tender is the purchase and sample configuration of hardware as well as the conclusion of software subscriptions including support from the manufacturer Check Point for the decentralized firewalls in the SMF business area. Since the central firewall is equipped with Check Point technology and the entire system is supported by a central Management is controlled, the new systems for the decentralized firewalls must be integrated into the existing environment and can be controlled via central management.
