Description:
Hamburg Tourismus GmbH (HHT) intends to build a modern middleware architecture to further develop its digital sales infrastructure as part of a Europe-wide procurement process. The aim is to improve the existing system landscape to modernize technologically, increase the flexibility and scalability of sales systems and create the basis for future digital innovations in tourism sales. The middleware is intended to act as a central integration and Act as an orchestration layer between existing booking systems, sales channels (e.g. website, app) and other internal and external systems. It enables a gradual decoupling of sales channels from existing backend systems and creates a flexible basis for integrating new systems and functions. In addition to the middleware, the core component of the project is the development and implementation of a new digital booking route, which is particularly aimed at improving the User experience and an increase in the conversion rate are aimed at. The project will be implemented in several phases. First, a technical and technical specification takes place in the form of a specialist concept and a functional specification.
