Description:
RheinEnergie AG intends to build a large heat pump system with a thermal output class of approx. 150 MW for the generation of district heating on the Cologne-Niehl site. The heat source of the large heat pump will be river water taken from the Rhine. It besteh the requirement to provide a district heating flow temperature of over 100 C for the district heating network with the large heat pump based on the lowest Rhine water temperature of approx. 5 C as a heat source.

The construction project is divided into several lots.
This announcement covers the Los 1 with the "large heat pump" scope of delivery and lot 2 with the "river water extraction" scope of delivery.

Lot 1:
The large heat pump system consists of the essential mechanical components: heat exchanger, refrigerant circuit system including compressor and refrigerant storage. FurthermoreIncluded are the EMSR components required for the operation of the large heat pump with the associated software and controls and the structural planning and delivery scope.

Lot 2:
The river water extraction includes both the structural engineering services and the system technology for a river waterSera extraction from the harbor basin in the order of approx. 24,000 - 30,000 m³/h divided into two to three extraction lines. Also included are the EMSR components required for the operation of the river water extraction with associated software and controls
