- The measure "Renovation of the 1970s extension as part of the general renovation of the Hohenstaufen-Gymnasium in Bad Wimpfen" involves an existing building from the 1970s with an auditorium, classrooms and an attached cafeteria. The existing extension was built around 1977 as an extension of the former monastery building. In 2005 this was expanded with the addition of a cafeteria. The building consists of 3 floors (1st floor - basement) in the southwest and 2 above-ground floors in the eastern area. The building corresponds to building class 5. It is unregulated Special construction.
In the entrance area there is a single-storey auditorium with a basement, which serves as a link between the eastern area between the ground floor and the upper floor, with half-storeys staggered in the southwest area is the cafeteria on the ground floor and the classrooms on the 1st floor.
The external sanitary unit will be demolished and the window and roof surfaces will be dismantled/replaced. The Steel structure of the cafeteria is being rebuilt.
Inside, clearances, dismantling, dismantling and demolition work are taking place as part of the renovation.
