Description:
At the University of Siegen, gas supply and vacuum exhaust installation work for the permanent installation of existing large devices (3 x PVD, CVD, PECVD, ALD, RIE,...) is to be carried out within the clean room (total area grey/white: 600m2) of the INCYTE research building. The installations require connecting the systems to the existing gas network with the installation of additional pressure gauges, distributors, fittings and shut-off valves. Some of the gases are explosive, highly corrosive and toxic gases, which require the gas pipes to be made of orbitally welded electropolished make stainless steel necessary. In addition, the safety precautions corresponding to the types of gas must be fully taken into account in accordance with the standards and usual installation procedures. Named gases are: SiH4, GeH4, PH3, B2H6, H2, CH4, SF6, Ar, O2, N2, C4F8, CHF3, CF4, He. Furthermore, the exhaust pipes of process systems are connected to the in-house exhaust air. For this purpose, 1. fixed KF piping is installed between the process chambers, including any turbo pumps, and the corresponding pumping stations (technical center below the gray/white room). 2. Connections to the Large appliances are connected to gas scrubbers (provided by the customer) and 3. Connections of large appliances to the exhaust network and the cooling water supply of the house are to be carried out. Complete qualification protocols and test documents (incl. necessary leak test measurements, ...) are included. In addition to the supply media to be installed, existing machine-internal piping of a PECVD system (gases: SiH4, GeH4, PH3, B2H6, H2, CH4, SF6, Ar, O2) must be qualified according to the same criteria. The Commissioning includes two HookUp phases. Phase 1 is planned for the period Q4/25 - Q1/26 and phase 2 is planned. Q2/26 - Q4/26.
