- The house B of the student residential complex in Ilmenau/ Max Planck-Ring is to be extensively renovated. The existing building organization with a central staircase and the middle aisle is retained. By removing the non -carrying inner walls, the cell structure is dissolved and generosity for each Apartment generated. The existing gable roof is dismantled and built as a new full floor by a prefabricated wooden structure. Every student has a private wet cell with a shower and toilet. Residential units are planned on all upper floors, while the five upper floors (EG, 1-3.OG and new season floor) are completely reserved for living, technology rooms, caretaker's office, washing machine room and bicycle parking are housed in the basement.
