Bauphase_object planning
The German Pension Insurance Baden-Wuerttemberg leads a fundamental Refurbishment of the expansion building built in 1977 in the Karlsruhe headquarters. The renovation takes place under partial occupancy and therefore in two Construction phases (construction phase 1 west side of the building / construction phase 2-east side of the building). The gross floor area (BGF) is around 20,958 m2. Of this, approximately 50% of the gross gross area (section 1) have already been renovated and put into operation in the period 2022 to 2025.
Construction phase 2 includes renovations across all Floors from the 2nd underground to the 3rd floor (core area) and dismantling of the saddle floor on the 3rd
The extension is designed as a reinforced concrete skeleton structure and has a superior aluminum glass facade, all-round escape balcony with superiors aluminum steel structure and two massive Stamiler concrete escape staircases on the east and west side. Floor ceilings in the area area are designed as a cassette concrete ceiling in the core area as a solid concrete ceiling. The 3rd floor, which was built in 1995, consists of a light, reduced steel construction with aluminum glass cladding that Interior walls are mostly made of plasterboard walls. As part of the measure, it is planned to rebuild the 3. OG.
The vertical development takes place via an internal staircase in the core area, as well as a passenger elevator (1st to 3rd) and a cargo elevator (2nd unit to 2nd floor).
