- BadenovaNetze (hereinafter "client" or "AG") is planning a hydrogen pipeline from Grenzach-Wyhlen (Lörrach district) to Dogern (Waldshut district). This line is intended to form the backbone of the future hydrogen supply along the High Rhine at the same time enable the region to be connected to the national and European hydrogen infrastructure. The project became part of the hydrogen core network on October 22, 2024 with the approval of the Federal Network Agency. The hydrogen core network is one of the Federal government's goal as part of the national hydrogen strategy to realize a Germany-wide pipeline network as a basis for the hydrogen market, which includes large-scale production and international import routes with national industrial centers, Connects power plants and storage. The first section from Dogern to Albbruck (length: 9km) with the project title “H2@Hydro” has been in implementation since March 2025.
