Description:
Installation of an integral flood protection concept i-HWSK for the catchment area of the Wipfra as part of the implementation of the European flood risk management guideline (EG-HWRM-RL) and the Thuringian state program flood protection are to be created for all waters in Thuringia, integral flood protection concepts (IHWSK) are created. The Wipfra is an approximately 40 km long water II. Its catchment area extends within the Ilm district to the areas of the cities of Arnstadt, Ilmenau, Stadtilm and the administrative community Riechheimer Berg. The water entertainment association (GUV) 13 - Gera / Apfelstädt / Obere ILM is responsible for its entertainment. The Wipfra is dammed up at the Heyda dam (jurisdiction Thuringian long -distance water supply (TFW)), whereby there is rather undeveloped natural areas above. Below the dam, the Wipfra runs through several local locations and agricultural areas and is classified as risk waters until its mouth.
