Description:
Identity and access management system The subject of the order is the introduction of a modern, on-premise identity and access management platform (IAM system) for the Berlin State Library. The solution to be delivered should be the existing legacy system ("Tools4ever") completely and ensure a central, automated identity lifecycle for around 4,300 user identities (including around 2,500 employee accounts). The order includes software licensing, technical implementation, Connection of numerous target systems (including Active Directory, M365, Cisco, SAP interfaces), migration of existing data and training of IT staff. The IAM solution to be procured is designed to consolidate and increase identity management IT security according to BSI-IT-Grundschutz standards. The scope of services essentially includes: Software deployment: Delivery of a modular IAM platform for 4,300 identities, available as an on-premise solution (native installation on Windows Server 2022/2025 or as a virtual appliance under VMware vSphere 8). Core functional requirements: Automation of the user lifecycle (on- and offboarding), self-service portal for password resets and resource requests, role management according to the Least privilege principle as well as comprehensive reporting and auditing of all changes.
