Description:
To ensure the water supply, the factory committees of the associations (VG) Hoehr-Grenzhausen, Montabaur, Ransbach-Baumbach and Wirges decided to in a joint project to a national water supply-to the water extraction of the united waterworks Middle Rhine (VWM) - to be connected. The joint connection of the four participating VGS takes place via a joint plant with the associated networking of the supply areas in four individual systems of the respective community works. The community system essentially consists of the following Components: - Construction of a high tank in the area of the Thielshuette on the Montabaurer Hoehe in the Hillscheid district, - Connection to the water supply of the United Waterworks Middle Rhine (VWM) by building a feeder line from Vallendar to the new high tank Thielshuette, - Production of a pumping station in Hoehr- Grenzhausen area on the fluerchen. The construction and execution of the PW Fluerchen and the HB Thielshuette are carried out as indoor designs with concrete sandwich converter and stainless steel containers. In the pumping station, three pumps that can be operated in parallel are installed, which together enable maximum conveying output of up to 220 m ³/ h in the direction of HB Thielshuette.
