The aim is to preserve and develop the rural regions as social, economic and natural areas, taking into account their different development potentials. In this context, MLUK successfully relies on "LEADER" as a strategic approach and method of rural developmentsound. The Brandenburg network agency LEADER is the interface between administration and LEADER actors. It networks, advises and qualifies the LEADER action groups as well as the actors in rural R., taking into account the specific circumstances of Brandenburgaum.
The exchange between the LEADER regions of Brandenburg, as well as supra-regional and transnational contacts, should be supported and promoted through regularly organized meetings, newsletters and an internet platform.
