Description:
The survey ships "Komet" and "Capella" have been in use for the BSH in the North and Baltic Sea since 23 and 18 years.
Both ships are classified according to the regulations of the Lloyds Register (short LR). According to class specifications, after 2.5 years, a class intermediate visit with sightseeing of the underwater ship in the dry dock must be carried out. The ship is dry for the necessary sightseeing and decrease and must be brought to a shipyard for about 12 weeks from November 2021 for this purpose. There are examinations and decreases in the context of class intermediate visit, including all necessary repair and repair work according to the regulations and under the supervision of the LR.
All ballast water and fuel tanks are opened, cleaned, finished and repaired for the scheduled visit. If necessary, the tanks are intended to be completely sanded as a result of corrosion as well as new preserved.
