KV SiS BW Sichersicherungs-GmbH operates its appointment service point on behalf of the KVBW, which can be reached around the clock on the nationwide telephone number 116 117 and, as a service point for outpatient care, standardizes callers with acute health complaints on the basis of a standarden, initial medical assessment procedure at the right time to the right level of care for them (doctor's office, medical on-call service, emergency room or rescue service). In addition, patients can receive help in arranging doctor and psychotherapists via 116 117therapist appointments and information on other healthcare services.
Call-takers' deployment planning is currently carried out by an experienced workforce manager using an Excel application, which, however, increasingly limits the planner, especially with regard to the necessary precise staffingung individual time windows brings. This means that existing employees are not always deployed in the way that would be necessary to achieve optimal accessibility.
