- At the location of the Saarlouis Ford plant, Ford will stop production of the focus until November 2025. By probably 2032, activities with a workforce volume of approx. 1,000 people should remain on the site.
The entire area consists of the actual work and the Ford IndustrialSupplier Park "Fisp". The work will gradually reduce a surface with the name "Ford 1000". In order to make the vacant space for the prospective prisoner Ravensburg pharmaceutical company company Vetter Baureif, a gradual dismantling of the areas and theinfrastructure on it is necessary.
This gradual dismantling starts on the winter congestion area "WSP" and the subcontract area "Nu area" (lot 1), followed by the "Compound" area (Los 2 & 3) and in the last step of the area of the final production "Assembly" and a development street,the "Saarland-corridor" as further loose.Including the underlying base layers (HO-gravel), to interfere with intermediate areas and, the materials should be suitable for re-installation, to be resumed and properly incorporated them after appropriate processing.
