Description:
The project "Change of industry: overcoming obstacles, take advantage of opportunities, secure the future" aims to develop practical and strategic solutions for decarbonizing companies in selected energy -intensive industrial sectors in Germany. The focus is on identificationthe essential obstacles to the changeover of individual industries to climate -neutral business. Concrete, relevant and in practice implementable options and measures by business and politics are to be prepared and further developed to support companies.Figure 1 of the service description provides an overview of the goals (divided into 4 work packages) of the project. The study to be created must be scientifically well -founded and provide practical recommendations for action.
Germany offers ideal prerequisites for a pioneering opportunities forto open green markets. If production in the energy -efficient industries absorbs speed again, this should be done in accordance with the climate goals. The political and social acceptance of the topic and the growing awareness of the urgent need for action have increased.This has significantly changed the energy and climate-political landscape through increased regulation and increasing political engagement.
