Innovation project SDEI Muencheberg
The Senckenberg German Entomological Institute (SDEI) operates as part of the Senckenberg Society forNatural research at the Muencheberg site is a globally active scientific institute for entomology. For capacity reasons, it is planned to build a new expansion building for the SDEI at the Muencheberg location. The planning site is part of the Leibnitz Center for Propertyr Agricultural Land and Land Use Research (ZALF) at Eberswalder Strasse 90 in 15374 Muencheberg (Brandenburg). The building will have dimensions (WxLxH) of 15.60 m x 30.60 m x 11.20 m as a three-story wooden building in solid wood construction with the main use being office and laboratory work, including a connectiondungeon corridor (5.10 m x 11.10 m x 4.00 m) to connect to the existing building. The gross floor area is 1,481 m2 GFA. The measure is carried out during ongoing building operations in the existing building, so special consideration must be given to the users of the building. Those through the BaNoise, pollution and supply/disposal traffic arising from the execution of the building must be reduced to a minimum in order to ensure largely undisturbed operation.
