Description:
As part of the Prepare project, a concept for integrating a laser beam source with an optical component, recording the scanner look and media guidance is to be constructed, designed, manufactured/procured. The construction is used for laser beam guidance using a CO2 laser beam source up to the so-called end effector (EE) for joining using laser welding. The aim is the partially automated storage of consolidated thermoplastic tapes/laminate to build a complex-shaped blade strap segment along the longitudinal axis of an 18 m long "full-scale" half-shell element of a rotor blade for use in wind turbines (WEA) on the premises of the Fraunhofer Iwes in Bremerhaven. The width of the thermoplastic belt package to be generated is 420 mm. The individual amateurs from which the belt is built show a maximum thickness of 0.5 mm each (600 g/m2 Contained carbon fiber in a location).
