Description:
From April 1, 2024, the KKH intends to offer KKH insured persons care with an rtCGM system for a limited period of time on the basis of a statutory benefit for existing BOT therapy (basal supportive oral therapy) for type 2 diabetes mellitus. The KKH commercial health insurance companyintends to conclude a contract or several contracts (with a temporary right of accession) for this statutory service by February 29, 2024 for the supply of rtCGM systems (total system: 30.43.01.0 or CGM sensors: 30.99.01.0, recipient: 30.99 .02.4, CGM transmitter/transmitter: 30.99.02.0 if required, CGM placement aids: 30.99.02.5 or product subgroup 21.43.01 ("old") of the aid list) as well as the associated services, as described under II.2.4.

The KKH commercial health insurance companye intends to conclude contracts for the supply of an rtCGM system for the planned statutory service. The rtCGM system meets the requirements of the G-BA decision on a change to the directive method for statutory health care: Continuous interstitial glucosemessung with real-time measuring devices (rtCGM) for therapy control in patients with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus from June 16, 2016.
