- Interior renovation of the laboratory building AC - flooring work As part of the construction project, the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, located on Albrechtstrasse, is renovating the AC part of the building, which dates back to the 1960s. This was mainly used for teaching in the form of Lecture events in the lecture halls, as well as research in laboratories and was carried out by the faculty Engineering and computer science used. The use will remain as it was, but is no longer up-to-date due to its age fulfilled no longer meet the legal and safety requirements, especially fire protection and laboratory safety. The building was constructed as a reinforced concrete frame construction and largely has ribbed ceilings. These are to be upgraded in terms of fire protection by applying appropriate plastering. In the course of this, all suspended ceilings but also the screed was largely expanded and renewed. Further building construction measures include the replacement of all interior doors accordingly to meet the requirements of fire and sound insulation, new ceilings, floors, sun protection/darkening and all painting work.
