- The introduction of a backup and ransomware protection solution for the central IT of Stadtwerke Duesseldorf AG, including operating and maintenance services, is intended to ensure a modernization of the backup environment and in-depth protection of the data assets. The solution should come from the Stadtwerken Duesseldorf AG can be used as backup and ransomware protection in the cloud and on-premises. The solution must be multi-client capable. Further requirements for the basic functionalities and the processes to be mapped are specified in the tender documents.These will be sent to the prequalified companies after the prequalification has been completed.

The aim of this measure is to introduce a holisticData protection solution for on-premises workloads, Azure workloads and Microsoft Office 365 (hereinafter M365) workloads. Furthermore, the backup data of the cloud solutions and the on-premises backup should be protected from possible encryption, e.g. by ransomware, or in the case of abe recoverable after encryption. The aim is to introduce a hardware solution on-premises in conjunction with a cloud-based SaaS/PaaS solution that fully covers the points mentioned above.
